Russian/Soviet teacher, writer, and playwright

After 1906, Neverov worked as a rural teacher, while at the same time publishing stories in magazines. He married in 1912. During the Revolution, he became friendly with members of the Socialist Revolutionary Party, but in 1919 joined the Bolsheviks, and held significant positions in various institutions of Samara.
He was one of the founders of the local folk theater, and in 1919 he wrote his first plays, one of which, "Baba", won first place in a contest in Moscow.

ソ連(ロシア)の作家、劇作家。本名スコベレフ。農民出身で若い頃から革命運動に挺身。革命前より伝統的リアリズム文学の影響下に作家活動を開始し、革命後に文名を高めた。プロレタリア作家団体「鍛冶屋」(クーズニツア)に所属し、農村の底辺における革命を描いた。主な作品に1921年のボルガ地方の大飢饉の際の自らの放浪体験を描いた短編「ポルカ・マズルカ」「教員」、中編「やくざなアンドロン」「タシケントはパンの町などがある。戯曲としては、赤衛軍の劇場のために扇情的な劇を4編ばかり書いた
