Sir Noël Peirce Coward
(December 16, 1899 – March 26, 1973)
[Coward
(left) with Lydia Bilbrook (centre) and Charles Hawtrey, 1911]
English playwright, composer, director,
actor and singer, known for his wit, flamboyance
1911 • Prince Mussel in The Goldfish
(Various Theatres, London)
• Cannard the pageboy
in The Great Name (Prince of Wales,
London)
• William in Where the Rainbow Ends (Savoy, London)
1912 • Mushroom in An Autumn Idyll (Ballet
- Savoy, London)
1913 • Angel in Hanelle
(Liverpool Repertory and Manchester)
• Slightly in Peter Pan (Duke of York's, London)
